Handspun Art Yarns
& fiber creations
NATURAL FIBERS
I strive to source only natural and sustainable materials for my work, with an emphasis on supporting small businesses.
SUSTAINABLY MADE
I dye my fibers with eco friendly acid dyes in small batches for use in art yarns, woven art pieces, spinning fiber batts and rolags.
ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING
My packaging and shipping materials are 100% plastic free and reusable, recyclable, or compostable.
Flower seeds included!
Here at Melior Fiber Studio I make a concerted effort to create with our planet and all of her creatures in mind. My indigenous upbringing instilled a deep love and appreciation of Earth and the beauty that surrounds us as well as the magic that can be found everyday in nature.

My primary fiber is merino wool sourced from a farm in North Carolina. Other fibers and materials commonly used are hand painted wool locks, silk and silk waste fibers, cotton, and mill spun wool yarns, as well as dried and preserved florals. There are no synthetic fibers or materials used in the creation of my items unless I come across some great material that can be upcycled in an effort to reduce waste. Any items that may contain upcycled materials will be noted.

I create each woven art piece with the hope that they can foster discussions of our planet and humanity.
Each purchase will see a percentage of the sale go to an environmental or human rights charity.
